Hi Everyone! I am very excited to share the initiative I’ve decided to take on in recognition of turning a Bat Mitzvah. I’m partnering with Yad Leah, an organization that sends clothing to families in Israel who come from impoverished homes and face difficult circumstances.
My parents have always embodied the value of chesed and encouraged us not only to appreciate the importance of helping those in need but to look for opportunities to make a difference. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of participating in a variety of chesed initiatives and each and every experience has allowed me to realize the impact that even a small act of generosity could have on someone’s life.
I feel especially blessed to be partnering with Yad Leah to collect funds for this incredible organization. Yad Leah does an amazing job supporting families in Israel and providing them with clothing in a most dignified and caring way.
Additionally, I’m excited to bring my friends along with me for my newest chesed project when celebrating my Bat Mitzvah. We will be creating special gift bags for other bat mitzvah girls in Israel who are less fortunate than us and my family and I will have the privilege of hand delivering these special gifts on my very first visit to Eretz Yisroel this summer iyh.
