Hi, I’m Sophie Appleson, and soon we’ll FINALLY be celebrating my official Bat Mitzvah!

When I’m not reading a great graphic novel, playing soccer, or thinking about cows (they’re the best), you can probably find me sleeping in a little later than I should.

But something really important to me is helping others. I believe everyone deserves the basics they need to thrive—like food, clothing, and a safe place to live. That’s why I chose to get involved with Yad Leah.

Yad Leah helps provide clothing to people who may not be able to afford it, and I’m excited to be part of making a difference.

At my Bat Mitzvah party, we will pack boxes of donated clothing to be shipped to Israel for families in need. Any money you donate goes to this awesome charity and the shipping costs of the boxes we pack. So I’m asking you to donate money to help make sure everyone in Israel has enough clothes. See you on June 14th!
