Hi,  welcome to my fundraising page! This past Chanuka, my family and I spent an afternoon at Yad Leah, sorting and packing clothes for needy families in Israel. I had a really fun time and enjoyed doing this special chesed. We also had a night activity at home, packaging kesher kits, which provided winter accessories for families in Israel. Both of these activities were really enjoyable and meaningful, and since then I have returned twice to the warehouse.

These activities also inspired me to partner my bat mitzvah with Yad Leah. In the summer, my family and I are iyH traveling to Eretz Yisrael . We hope to visit one of the many stores Yad Leah has set up to allow families to shop for gently used clothing with dignity. I cannot wait to be able to see where all of our sorted and packed clothing goes, and to be able to help on the other side. In September, I  plan to invite my grade to the Yad Leah warehouse in Passaic in honor of my bat mitzvah and hope it will inspire them to want to do more of this incredible chessed. 

I have set a personal goal of $1,000 for this special organization. Any amount that you feel comfortable donating can help reach our goal and help our brothers and sisters in Israel. Thank you!
